While many of us went through our normal routine of gearing up for the work week, our neighbors in Joplin, Missouri, were dealing with everything but normalcy. The St. Louis Post Dispatch reported that the tornado (either an EF-4 with 166 to 200 mile-per-hour winds or an EF-5 with more than 200 mph winds) killed at least 89 people, making it one of the deadliest tornadoes in Missouri history.
